Fifteen years after last portraying the iconic character on film, Tom Felton is set to return to the world of “Harry Potter” as Draco Malfoy, but this time, he will be performing on a Broadway stage.

The British actor, celebrated for his portrayal of Harry Potter’s rival, will make his Broadway debut in “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” this November. The 37-year-old actor announced that his engagement with the production is for a limited season, scheduled to run until March.

The play is set 19 years after the conclusion of the original “Harry Potter” series. It follows Draco, now a father, as he sends his child off to Hogwarts alongside the children of Harry, Ron, and Hermione.

From Hogwarts to Broadway: Felton’s Expanding Career

Felton’s casting marks him as the first actor from the original film series to take on a leading role in the Broadway production. Since the end of the “Harry Potter” films, Felton has appeared in “Planet of the Apes: Prevolution.” In 2022, he released his memoir, “Beyond the Wand.”
