Arnold (77) and Patrick Schwarzenegger (31) recently discussed their experiences with on-screen nudity during “Variety’s actors on Actors,” reflecting on moments from “Terminator” to “Teh White Lotus.”
In a conversation with his son Patrick,Arnold Schwarzenegger recalled his early career and the impact of “Terminator” (1984). “I made the Conan films back then, and that was exactly what I dreamed of as a child. You wanted to be an actor because of acting-I wanted it because I saw Hercules on the big screen,” he told Patrick. “I started to train and said to me: ‘I become Mr. Universe and will get into films through my fame.'”

“I couldn’t believe it,” replied Arnold. “I said to myself, ‘I look your show and see your butt out there.’ And suddenly I see your ‘Weenie’. But it was a shock for me that you step in my footsteps so well. “
Patrick revealed that the decision to appear fully nude was his own.”When we turned the bedroom scene, they had prepared a kind of boxer shorts for me that I should actually wear, and I said: ‘I just do it naked,'” Patrick told Men’s Health in March.
