Actor greg tarzan Davis, who has appeared alongside Tom Cruise in three major films, including “Top Gun: Maverick” and the “Mission: Impossible” franchise, recently shared insights into learning from the legendary actor, notably his signature running style.

Davis plays Degas in “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning,” a role he also held in “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning.” In the latest installment, his character becomes more integrated with Ethan Hunt‘s IMF team, bringing him even closer to Cruise’s character.

Beyond the high-stakes stunts,Davis focused on mastering Cruise’s iconic high-speed run. Fans of the “Mission Impossible” series will recall the run from “Ghost Protocol,” where Ethan escapes the Kremlin, and in “The Final Reckoning,” as he flees exploding underground caves.

“He has some wheels on him, man. He has some serious wheels.”

Davis sought guidance from Cruise to improve his own running form for the film. “I was like, ‘Tom, I don’t want to look stupid compared to you when I run, because I run a certain type of way in real life. And I was like, ‘You’ve got to give me some tips on how to actually run,'” Davis said.
