Vince McMahon, the former Chairman and CEO of WWE, has launched a new venture named 14TH & I, focusing on sports, media, and entertainment investments.

According to public filings obtained by Wrestlenomics, McMahon registered three limited liability companies (LLCs) in Connecticut on September 20, 2024. These entities, formed in Delaware, share a principal office address in Stamford, Connecticut. mcmahon is listed as the managing member for two of the LLCs, with 14TH & I Holdings listed as a member of the others.

The three LLCs are:

• 14TH & I holdings LLC
• 14TH & I Investments LLC
• 14TH & I Management LLC

Sources suggest that creating separate LLCs could be a strategy to maintain legal and financial separation between different aspects of the business, such as asset ownership, investment management, and operational activities.

Former WWE Executive Brad Blum, a longtime associate of McMahon, has been named President of 14TH & I, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Blum’s LinkedIn profile describes 14TH & I as:

“14th & I is a private investment firm focused on the sports, media, & entertainment sectors.We are a disciplined, flexible, long-term capital and strategic partner, primarily targeting buyouts/majority deals, as well as selective growth-oriented minority investments. We seek to partner with and empower exceptional management teams, providing deep expertise, capability, and relationships to help drive significant long-term value.”

The Significance of the Name: 14TH & I

The name “14TH & I” appears to be a reference to the location of the Capitol Wrestling corporation, the predecessor to WWE, during the 1950s and 1960s.An old August 16, 2006 article notes that the company, then owned by vincent J. McMahon, had its headquarters at the corner of 14th and I Streets in Washington D.C.

Two related trademark applications filed on August 23, 2024, are currently pending with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.
