The alleged second-in-command of the criminal association known as “North Cone Grafts,” Yojairo Arancibia Sevillano, alias ‘JJ’ or ‘Yohairo’, has been captured in connection with the May 2024 attack on the Musical Group Harmony 10, which resulted in the death of singer Paul Flores García, also known as Russo.

Law enforcement sources report that Sevillano is considered the right-hand man of the alleged gang leader, Erick Moreno Hernández, alias ‘The Monster’.

Arrest Details

According to police reports, ‘JJ’ was apprehended in Huánuco, where he had fled in an attempt to evade authorities. Agents from Dirincri, in collaboration with the Special Brigade against Criminality of Lima Norte, tracked his movements for several days before locating and arresting him along with two other individuals. Firearms where found in their possession.

‘JJ’ Allegedly Orchestrated Criminal Activities

Authorities claim that ‘JJ’ served as the operational arm of the criminal organization, coordinating extortion, robberies, and homicides. The PNP (National Police of Peru) has directly linked him to the armed assault on a bus belonging to the Musical Group Harmony 10 in May 2024, which resulted in the death of singer Paul Flores García, known as Russo.

Colonel José Cruz chamba, head of the Dirincri, stated at a press conference that ‘JJ’ allegedly received orders from ‘The Monster’ and relayed them to his trusted hitman, ‘Marianito’, who carried out the attack. ‘The Italian‘ is believed to have been the shooter.
