Lachen – The 1st Chair of SV Lachen, Hans Wiedenmayer, welcomed 63 members to the annual general meeting. He reported on another membership growth, which is also due to the diverse offer of the association. The latest courses are popular sports for children/adolescents, functional gymnastics, spinning-here the SVL is even an official spinning base-and from April Fit-Mit-Kind. According to the 1st chairman, SV Lachen runs around in all departments, which is due to the voluntary commitment of many members. At the end of his explanations, he thanked everyone who kept the club alive through their support, help and donations.

Gratifying news at the annual general meeting of SV Lachen

Club treasurer Alexander Wersig again reported on a satisfactory cash register and briefly explained the larger items of income and expenses.

Reports from the SV Lachen departments at the annual general meeting

Gymnastics department:

Department manager Renate Mendler reported 507 active members aged 1 to 90, who can go on their sport all year round thanks to the great rooms in the sports hall and thus keep physically and mentally fit. Thanks to the many top trained trainers, health sports – such as back fit and functional gymnastics – can also be offered. There was also an offer for children yoga over the year. A highlight in 2025 was also the 2nd Fitness Day on October 26 with 22 courses, some of which took place at the same time.

Ski department:

Marco Mendler stated that the new ski suits for all six ski instructors and 18 trainers and helpers took place in December. In the course of the winter, ski courses for toddlers (dwarfs), children and adolescents and adults (this time with Wolfschwenden) were offered again. With two buses you drove to the apres skiing to Serfaus. The day skiing to Nauders did not take place due to overlaps in the dates, but should be planned for the coming year. Mendler thanked all the trainers who led the professional winter fit from October to March.

Ultimate Frisbee:

A representation of department head Inge Muth said that there are currently eleven children and young people in the Smiley team who have played tournaments in player communities this year. The highlight for the team is scheduled to be the training weekend in September 2025. In the coming weeks, the trainer will give a trial lesson in the Benningen primary school.

Youth CLASHERALE ABOUTH:

Department head Peter Richter said at the meeting that the large field teams are considered a “registration league” up to the district league (the clubs themselves decide on the strength of the teams). Due to the player communities, there is a team in the A and C youth in every age group- even two in point game operations. Fortunately, the SV Lachen can provide their own team at the Bambinis.

Over the winter, indoor tournaments were carried out in the Lachener sports hall for all age groups on two weekends. The biggest challenge for the youth leader is always the division of young people into the different age groups and the occupation of the teams with coaches and supervisors. Through participation in the DFB point competition, the status of “silver” was preserved, thus winning foldable miniors, ten training balls and a “Meet and Greet” with Bundesliga referee Robert Hartmann.

Senior football department:

The teams started the second half of the season with the training camp in Italy. Despite a very good second half of the season, in which no game was lost, the 1st team missed the promotion to the district league by two points. However, the 2nd team was able to maintain relegation in the first year after promotion to the A-Class.

After this success, coach Helmut Notz saw his mission fulfilled and ended his work as a coach after six years in the summer. In terms of interim, this office is run by the coach of the 1st team Kai Krause and player coach Stefan Kohler. The goal is to find a new trainer for the coming season. Together with Helmut Notz, long-time players like Felix Nick and Simon Baum-Vögele (563 games for the SVL) ended their careers. There was another change of personnel in the department management – Sebastian Nollenberger passes on his office to Fabian Stahl. Department head Fabian Stahl thanked him on behalf of the entire football department for his great commitment for the club and the team.

The 1st team is currently trying to achieve the promotion to the district league. It currently occupies 2nd place. The 2nd team hopes for the relegation again.

Ah team:

Ah manager Herbert Rabus reported a difficult Ah season. The weekly training evenings do not take place often because of the lack of players, so unfortunately no friendly game could be perceived. However, it will not be stated by the AH team, since other times will come again.

New elections carried out at SV Lachen

In the regular new elections, the 2nd chairman Michael Stephan, the 1st secretary Sabine Lichtensteiger and the 2nd cashier Tim Wassermann were re -elected.
