Archynetys.com – Deep Dive into Local events
Residents of Via De Tomai are set to host a vibrant neighborhood feast on May 17th and 18th, fostering community spirit and enhancing the Borgo San Rocco area. This initiative is part of a collaborative agreement with the municipal administration, aimed at promoting care for shared spaces and strengthening neighborly relations. Such community-led initiatives are increasingly vital, as studies show that strong social connections can considerably improve quality of life and reduce social isolation, a growing concern in urban environments.
A Culinary and Artistic Extravaganza
Via De Tomai, near Via Baccarini, will transform into a lively hub with tables and chairs inviting attendees to savor culinary delights. Rosella Mengozzi from the Kitchen School of Knowledge and Flavors, in partnership with the Cameroonian women’s association Pyramide, will curate a selection of foods. Additionally, La Schiccia laboratory will provide snacks. The event will also showcase local artistry, featuring crafts, plants, and flowers from local citizens and Coop. Soc. The Pieve. Artist Laura Pagliai will host a ceramic workshop, offering hands-on creative experiences.
This event is a testament to the power of community collaboration and the desire to create a vibrant and welcoming neighborhood.
