Direct Flights to Major US Cities Starting This October
Beginning in October, Viva will commence operations on the following routes:
- Los Angeles (LAX)
- Chicago O’Hare (ORD)
- Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW)
- Denver (DEN)
- Houston (IAH)
- Miami (MIA)
- Orlando (MCO)
These new routes will provide enhanced connectivity to key destinations across the United States, offering travelers more choices and competitive fares.

AIFA’s Expanding Network: A 31% Route Increase for Viva
With the addition of these international routes, coupled with previously announced domestic flights to Tepic, Nayarit, and la Paz, Baja California Sur, Viva is set to operate a total of 38 routes from AIFA by the end of 2025. This represents a significant increase of 31% compared to the 29 routes operated last year, solidifying Viva’s position as the airline with the most meaningful presence at this burgeoning airport.
This expansion is especially noteworthy considering the increasing demand for air travel between Mexico and the United States.According to recent data from the Bureau of Transportation Statistics, passenger traffic between the two countries has seen a steady rise in recent years, highlighting the importance of affordable and accessible flight options.

With these new international routes,and the next start of national flights to tepic,Nayarit and La Paz,Baja California Sur announced a few months ago,Viva will reach a total of 38 routes in operation from the AIFA at the end of 2025,compared to the 29 with which it closed last year,which represents a growth of 31%. This growth reaffirms its commitment to expanding the country’s air connectivity and its position such as the airline with greater participation in this new airport.
