Family Defends Activist, Claims Accidental Poisoning

Humberto Coimbra, Lilibeth’s father, has publicly defended his daughter, asserting the family’s commitment to animal welfare. He recounted an incident where a construction worker on their property alerted them to a sick puppy.According to Coimbra, the family offered all the dogs rice bread to encourage them to eat, but tragically, two puppies and their mother were later found dead beneath a tree.

“When we agreed was that two puppies appeared there and the mother of these below a tree that there is,”

Adding complexity to the case, Humberto Coimbra mentioned that security footage captured one of the dogs approaching the gate, consuming somthing, and subsequently exhibiting signs of poisoning, including staggering and vomiting. The father emphasized the family’s responsible pet ownership,stating,A year and a half baby realizes that we are not going to raise dogs with vaccines,with food bags to kill them ourselves,highlighting that their dogs were vaccinated and well-cared for,making intentional poisoning seem illogical.
