Remembering a Musical Genius

With the tenth anniversary of Edgar Froese’s passing, this exhibition serves as a poignant tribute to his legacy.Highlights include two of Froese’s guitars and the VGX Award Tangerine Dream received for their soundtrack to the blockbuster video game, Grand Theft Auto V. Recently, the group performed at the Alte Oper in Frankfurt, showcasing a repertoire that spanned their extensive career, from the 1970s and 80s to more recent compositions.

A unique element of their current performances is Quaeschning’s real-time composition, where the band adapts their music to the specific architecture and acoustics of each venue, ensuring a unique and immersive experience for the audience.
