Recognizing the crucial role parents play, Create recently hosted an educational workshop at the Parque Independencia Fairground. This event, attended by over 150 parents of athletes involved in sports like swimming, water polo, table tennis, beach volleyball, and athletics, focused on providing them with the tools and knowledge to effectively support thier children’s athletic journeys.
Alejandra Mattheus, Secretary of Sports and Tourism of the Municipality, opened the training session, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between social and federated sports. The workshop addressed vital aspects of sports psychology and nutrition, led by psychologist Guillermo Cavagnaro and nutritionist Florencia Castellanos.

The training covered essential topics, including the importance of a balanced diet for optimal physical performance and strategies for emotional management in young athletes. The initiative, conceived and developed by the Municipality of rosario through the Ministry of Sports and Tourism, aims to enhance existing collaborations between the government and over 400 institutions dedicated to federated sports development.
The project transcends sports, engaging at the social and educational levels. It promotes equal opportunities through practice, training, competition, and education within systematic pedagogical processes for both conventional athletes and those with disabilities, guided by professional technical teams. This holistic approach supports the athlete’s education, environment, and family.
