Entertainment and Special Events
The pop-up will feature daily entertainment, including DJs, pedal demonstrations by guest guitarists, and various surprises throughout the weekend. These activities provide a memorable experience for music lovers and fans of Third Man Records.
Third Man Records has built a reputation for its diverse roster of artists, which includes The White Stripes, The Raconteurs, The Dead Weather, Jack White solo records, Hotline TNT, Sheer Mag, The Belair Lip Bombs, and Natalie Bergman. This eclectic mix ensures a rich selection of music and merchandise at the Paris store.
Prompting the Paris Pop-Up
The decision to open a pop-up in Paris stems from the label’s successful London location, which opened in 2021. Third Man Records has experimented with pop-ups across the UK and at festivals. The choice of Paris was strategic because Jack White will perform three shows there, attracting fans to the area. Additionally, France was one of the first countries to embrace The White Stripes.
What to Expect at the Pop-Up
The pop-up store will be housed in a space near La Cigale and Le Trianon, the venues where Jack White is performing. Shoppers can expect to find classic Third Man vinyl, merchandise, guitar pedals, and some rare and limited releases. On Saturday at 2 pm, there will be demonstrations of the label’s range of guitar pedals, all designed and used by Jack White. A special guest guitarist for the pedal demo is likely, adding an exciting element to the event.

Challenges of Temporary Spaces
Creating a consistent look in a temporary space can be challenging. However, Third Man Records has three primary color schemes: yellow and black for Third Man, blue for Jack White/Live, and red and white for The White Stripes. These color schemes simplify the replication process across various locations. For the Paris pop-up, the designers have mimicked the French flag within the store by incorporating blue, white, and red walls.
