More than a week has passed since Crimson Desert by Pearl Abyss was launched. Despite receiving initial reviews which were somewhat disappointing – even causing the developer’s shares to plummet, slowly many players were successfully made to fall in love as they explored the things offered in the game.
Not only in terms of content, but the developer himself moved quite quickly in releasing it patch which addresses the various things players complain about. And recently they have released it again patch version 1.01.00 with tons of updates and adjustments.
There is also new content in the form of five additional Legendary Animals that players can find while exploring Pywel. Interestingly, these five legendary animals can also become Mounts after players successfully defeat them.
The five Legendary Animals are as follows:
- White Bear
- Silver Fang
- Snowhite Deer
- Rock Tusk Warthog (Boss
- Icicle Edge Alpine Ibex (Boss)
After defeating the Legendary Animals, skin the remains of the corpse and take the special materials obtained to one of the five Witches such as Elowen. Via the Craft Abyss Gear menu, it will appear item “Sigil of” that players can craft to-summon Defeated legendary animal mounts.
Pearl Abyss also stated that NPCs in their world will not be afraid when players ride these various legendary animals.
Crimson Desert records sales of three million units
Not only is it proven by the review title on Steam which is slowly changing from Mostly Positive to Very Positive, Crimson Desert’s success can also be seen from the Pearl Abyss report which states that the game has sold three million units in less than a week.
Unfortunately, the sales figures for Crimson Desert were not disclosed in detail, which of course is the total for all platforms targeted: PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. However, on Steam itself, the number of players at the same time is quite stable – above 200 thousand people every day until the time this article was published (via SteamDB).
So, what do you think about this? crime? Come on, let’s get straight to it share your opinion in the comments column.
