Aprilia Racer, Jorge Martinfell due to the excitement of wheelie celebrations after winning the 2026 American MotoGP sprint race at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA), Sunday (29/3) early morning WIB.
This victory was Martin’s first since winning MotoGP in 2024. The last time Martin won a race was the 2024 Malaysian MotoGP sprint race.
Martin celebrated this achievement by doing a wheelie after crossing the finish line. Unfortunately for the Spanish racer, he slipped and fell.

Luckily Jorge Martin was not injured. The 2024 MotoGP champion can still climb the podium in the American MotoGP sprint race.
According to Martin, he did not expect to win races in three series, especially after experiencing a bad season in 2025.
“I am very happy with today. I never thought that when I started the season in Thailand, I would win the race after three rounds,” said Martin as quoted by Crash.

“This is extraordinary. I am very grateful to Aprilia. They helped me a lot to reach my level again,” added Martin.
Martin did not deny that the injury he suffered at the start of 2025 still hurts. Therefore, when he won again after one year, Martin was very happy.
“I feel like a better rider than before. I feel stronger. I still feel some problems with my physical condition, especially pain,” said Martin.
