The ceremony was attended by Comrade Dinh Quang Tuan, secretary of the Party Committee and president of the People’s Council of the commune; members of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune; representatives of departments, agencies and mass organizations; and a large number of officials, public employees, armed forces personnel, teachers, students and residents of the area.

The “National Physical Training Movement Following the Example of the Great President Ho Chi Minh” is a practical and meaningful activity that contributes to improving the health, physical fitness and spiritual well-being of the population. Likewise, the “Olympic Race for the Health of the People – For the Security of the Homeland” not only spreads the spirit of physical training and sports, but also contributes to strengthening national defense, linked to solid citizen security.
In his opening speech, Comrade Trinh Khac Tan, vice chairman of the commune People’s Committee, urged departments, agencies and mass organizations in the commune to continue promoting the dissemination of information and encouraging cadres and people to actively participate in regular physical exercise and sports. Likewise, he urged schools to focus on physical education for students, encouraging the habit of exercise from an early age; and the armed forces to rigorously maintain physical training programs, thus contributing to the construction of a strong and comprehensive force. He encouraged all citizens to actively participate in the movement, choosing a suitable sport to improve their health daily.


Delegates, officials and members of the armed forces participated in a race to show their support for the “National Physical Training Movement following the example of the great President Ho Chi Minh.”
Immediately after the opening ceremony, 250 delegates and citizens participated in a 1 km solidarity run. The objective was to create a happy and unified atmosphere, contributing to the promotion of physical exercise and sports in the community.
Through this launching ceremony, we seek to encourage and motivate all levels of cadres, soldiers and citizens to participate in physical training and sports, in response to the “National Physical Training Movement following the example of the Great President Ho Chi Minh” and the “Health to build a career and defend the motherland” movement among young people; thus contributing to improving health to study, work, produce, build and defend the homeland. At the same time, it is intended to promote the dissemination and sensitize departments, agencies, organizations, villages, neighborhoods and the general population about the role and importance of physical training and sports to protect and improve health and quality of life; building a healthy lifestyle and cultural environment, contributing to the strengthening of national unity.
