Former councilor Carlos Bolsonaro updated on social media the father’s health status, the former president Jairo Bolsonaro, who has been admitted to the DF Star hospital, in Brasília, since Friday (13).
In the text published this Saturday (14), he reported that Bolsonaro was happy and smiled when he saw him.
“I spoke quickly with the doctors, who said that his condition remains serious, as the antibiotics have not yet had their maximum effect with the dosages that have been applied and, like all strong medications, they can also overload the kidneys”, he wrote.
According to the update, the former president continues to have hiccups and complained of being feverish.
“[Ele] I insisted on talking about politics, even though that wasn’t my intention at the time. The old man is extremely aware of everything that is happening in the country and in the world and continues with the plans to be implemented”, says the text.
The former councilor said that his father’s suffering is visible as well as the worsening of his health condition.
“We are always by your side, always ready to help. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the faith that so many people have shown in your recovery. Justice will be done,” he said.
Bolsonaro has been admitted to the ICU (Intensive Care Unit) at DF Star Hospital, in Brasília, since Friday (13). Imaging and laboratory tests confirmed the diagnosis of bilateral bacterial bronchopneumonia, caused by aspiration of liquid from the stomach.
He still has no plans to leave the ICU. The medical team believes that the former president will remain hospitalized for at least 7 days.
