BLAIR COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — The Allegro Italian restaurant in Blair County is warning customers about an alleged Facebook scam targeting the eatery’s upcoming tribute event to the former Erculiani’s Grill that was located in Gallitzin.
Staff warns that fake Facebook posts are advertising tickets for purchase for the event — and they are urging people not to send money to anyone making these claims.
If seen, the restaurant asks that you report the fraudulent posts to Facebook.
Allegro Restaurant clarified that it is not selling tickets for the event.
Reservations are required but they must be made by calling the restaurant directly.
