Bollywood actress Lara Dutta Bhupathi, who is in Dubai with her husband and former tennis player Mahesh Bhupathi and daughter, on Wednesday said she is “concerned” about the ongoing crisis in West Asia and is looking forward to returning to Mumbai.

The actress said she had come to Dubai for ‘brand promotion’ at the time of the start of the Israel-Iran war, which has been like a home for her for the last three years. She said she was in a studio when she heard explosions and saw missiles passing by. She said, “I can’t lie, these days have been very stressful. We are nervous and it has been a scary time as well. There are a lot of fighter planes flying overhead, there are very loud explosions.
Although we live in a villa in a very safe area, …but the windows shake, the house and doors rattle, and it is all a disturbing experience. But I never felt unsafe, not even once.” He said they have been trying to book a flight back to India, but he is not available. “We are trying to get back to Mumbai, especially because the children are very nervous, and so are we adults,” Dutta said.
