How have sales of the important Nivea brand developed? The consumer goods company recently brought a vegan version of the cream onto the market.
The Hamburg skin care group Beiersdorf will publish its business figures for 2025 on Tuesday (7:30 a.m.). A constantly important question is how sales of the core brand Nivea have developed. Sales abroad have recently weakened, and Beiersdorf had to lower its sales forecast again. In the 2024 financial year, the DAX group generated more than half of its sales with Nivea.
Beiersdorf’s hopes are based on the self-developed active ingredient Epicelline, which is said to have a skin-rejuvenating effect. In August 2025, Beiersdorf brought a Nivea serum containing the active ingredient onto the market. Since January, the company has also been offering a vegan Nivea cream.
