by Archynetys News Desk

It is not only Trentino that has to deal with the effects of avalanches in this period. In the nearby Brescia area, in fact, yesterday, Saturday 28 February, there were moments of fear on the slopes of Mount Sossino, in the municipal area of Ossimo.

Around 11.20am a snow release occurred, with the alarm raised by some young people who were ski mountaineering together. Among them also a girl who – according to initial information – was partially overwhelmed by the avalanche, but managed to free herself from the snow and reach safety.

The 118 air ambulance from Bergamo was sent to the scene and reached the young woman, who was in shock but fortunately not in serious condition. After the assistance provided to the girl, the area was cleared to exclude the presence of other people involved.
