The Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) will co-organize with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) the IMF MENA 2026 Research Conference, scheduled in Rabat on June 29 and 30, 2026.
This edition will examine the profound changes in global trade and financial systems, marked by tariff shocks, geoeconomic fragmentation, digitalization and the rise of artificial intelligence.
The work will focus on the risks and opportunities that this new international configuration presents for the MENA region, as well as the macroeconomic and structural policies necessary to strengthen resilience, support long-term growth and accelerate convergence with advanced economies.
