Budanov: Russia Negotiations – Final Decisions Near?

by Archynetys News Desk

Ukraine, with the help of international partners, is approaching the result.

Negotiations to achieve peace are not going well, but Ukraine is moving forward and approaching the point when all parties will need to make final decisions.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, this was stated by the head of the Presidential Office Kirill Budanov during the Justice Conference today in Kyiv.

“Such wars do not end on their own. They either end with a just decision, or they will certainly return in an even larger and more dangerous form,” he said.

Therefore, according to Budanov, Ukraine’s attention is focused on peace negotiations, which should not just end the war, but protect against a repetition of bloody Russian aggression:

“It’s no secret that the negotiations are not going well, but we are definitely moving forward and approaching the moment when all parties will need to make final decisions: continue this war or move on to peace. I hope that justice will prevail.”

Budanov emphasized that thanks to diplomatic efforts and the support of partners, primarily the United States, Ukraine is approaching the result step by step.

Negotiations to end the war

As UNIAN reported, President Vladimir Zelensky said that for Ukraine, victory in the war with Russia means the liberation of the entire territory from occupation, but this is a matter of the future; it is impossible to do this today.

He explained that to do this now means losing millions of people, and this is too high a price.
