Sjaak Troost will step down as a member of the Supervisory Board (SB) of Feyenoord and will make his position available immediately. The former player held the position of commissioner for seven years. The club communicated the news on Sunday evening after the victory over Telstar.
Troost indicates that he looks back on his long period at Feyenoord with satisfaction. “Unfortunately, the past two years have not gone as I expected and I am partly to blame for that. It has been nice and privately it is good that I am now going to spend my time in a different way.”
