Two people have been arrested on suspicion of defrauding a man by promising him treatment abroad and collecting €130 in the process.
Police said the incident began at 8:23 p.m. in Lipjan and Malisheva, adding that on the order of the prosecutor’s office, one of the suspects was taken into custody while the other was released as part of a regular procedure.
“On February 20, 2026, two Kosovar men were arrested after defrauding the victim of €130,000. They had promised to send him abroad for treatment. Two cell phones, two medical records and a bank card were seized as evidence,” the police report says. /Express/
