Stress Relief Tools: Find Calm & Cope Better

Until May 14th, every Thursday at 7pm, a holistic yoga course is taking place at the premises (kindly granted by the municipal administration) of the Ischia I social center in via Domenico Bruni 2 in Grottammare.

“Become our member and you will be able to take part in a course – say the managers of the Circolo Acli Oscar Romero who promote the initiative – which aims to raise awareness of a healthy activity such as yoga, which has clear benefits for the health of those who practice it”.

Yoga is an effective tool for reducing stress because it combines slow movement, deep breathing and attention to the present moment. Breathing techniques help calm the nervous system, reducing accumulated tension. The positions promote the release of muscle stiffness related to daily stress. Constant practice improves the ability to manage emotions and recover more quickly after difficult situations. Furthermore, the meditative dimension of yoga promotes greater mental clarity and a sense of inner balance. Each lesson, held by teacher Eugenia Brega, lasts one hour.

The initiative is carried out thanks to the collaboration of the health and well-being department of the Municipality of Grottammare and the Teatro delle Foglie Association.
