At Ford‘s home, in the city of Detroit, to seal the union between Red Bull, Racing Bulls and the American automotive giant which has officially begun the motoring collaboration, the 2026 liveries of the single-seaters based in Milton Keynes and Faenza were presented. An event deeply felt by Ford, but obviously the single-seaters were not the ones we will see on track starting from the first pre-season tests. So, in reality, nothing new except some differences in the colors compared to 2025.
The words, written in a letter, by Will Ford, heir to the family and general manager of Ford Racing, are heated: “For Ford, the return to Formula 1 is a question of unfinished family business. After 22 years of absence from the Australian GP we are returning to our identity. We are working hard on an engine that is very complex. This is not a game, a hobby, it is the sport made up of sleepless nights and extreme technical challenges, a battlefield.
“The high-voltage systems and battery software we’re refining for 2026 are the true underlying designs of the cars and trucks our customers will drive every day. When you buy a Ranger Raptor or an F-150, you’re buying race data and grit. To those who’ve waited two decades, I say, we’re back. The Blue Oval is back where it belongs. Now, let’s go racing.”
