- Thunderobot Station is a cube desktop computer with front-facing SD and USB ports
- Ryzen AI Max+ 395 targets sustained workloads and peak performance
- Thunderobot stations are designed to remain visible and actively used
Thunderobot is building momentum ahead of CES 2026, confirming the arrival of another system based on the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor.
The device, called the Thunderobot Station, comes in the form of a compact cube desktop rather than the traditional tower or laptop shape.
This ad adds to the growing number of Ryzen AI Max+ 395-based devices expected to appear at the show, signaling broader vendor adoption of this generation of APUs.

Thunderobot describes the site as an artificial intelligence-focused mini PC designed for sustained workloads and long-term stability rather than peak performance.
Official trailer from the release Thunderobot Station’s Weibo account (originally in Chinese) The Thunderobot Station has a set of ports on the front for easy access.
It has two standard USB-A ports, a USB-C port, an SD card slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
There’s a round power button above the port for quick operation without having to reach into the case.
Its cube-shaped housing has a volume of approximately 3 liters and can easily fit into restricted office environments.
The design also shows that the device can maintain adequate airflow to the processor and internal components.
It’s unclear how far Thunderobot plans to push the platform in practice.
The Ryzen AI Max+ 395 can sustain higher operating levels than most mobile-class deployments, but this advantage only works if the system configuration allows it.
Without published energy targets or caloric limits, true plant differentiation remains unproven.
Although the design suggests that the device is intended to remain visible and actively used, unlike regular mini PCs designed for tight spaces, this intention has not been confirmed.
Thunderobot will officially announce the full specifications of the device at CES 2026, which will be held in Las Vegas from January 6th to 9th.
The event will also showcase three other devices, including the ZERO Air gaming laptop equipped with Intel’s next-generation Panther Lake processor, the aibook14 Pro ultra-light laptop equipped with a carbon fiber chassis, and the MIX G2 desktop equipped with a discrete graphics card and embedded chassis.
