Preparation work to restore two buildings dating from around the 15th Century at a former leper hospital has started

Protective fencing was going up around the Master’s House and St Michael’s Chapel in Saltisford, Warwick.

The Heritage Lottery Funded project will see the Grade II* listed buildings redeveloped for residential use.

Jessica Melrose, portfolio holder for housing at Warwick District Council, said the authority was working with West Midlands Historic Building Trust and Historic England, as well as the heritage lottery, to ensure the buildings were brought back into use to ensure their future.
