Travis Kelce Retirement: NFL Star Speaks Out

by Archynetys Sports Desk

In front of his fiancée Taylor Swift, NFL star Travis Kelce lost the last home game of his Kansas City Chiefs against the Denver Broncos and left his sporting future open.

“This is a decision that I will make together with my family, my friends and the Chiefs organization when the time comes,” said the 36-year-old football professional after the Chiefs lost 13:20 on Thursday.

Kelce didn’t make the playoffs for the first time in his career

Kelce has been with the Chiefs since the start of his professional career and is now missing the playoffs for the first time since his debut season in 2014.

In the duel with Denver, he was one of the few offensive bright spots on his team, which recently lost star quarterback Patrick Mahomes to a torn cruciate ligament.

With Kansas City, Kelce won the Super Bowl three times. The tight end’s contract expires at the end of the season. It is still unclear whether Kelce will play against the Las Vegas Raiders on the last day of the regular season next week.
