When is low blood pressure dangerous?
Mowafi said during his hosting of the “Last Word” program, presented by journalist Ahmed Salem, that low blood pressure poses a danger to human health, if it occurs for a reason.
The professor of critical care medicine added that low blood pressure is dangerous if it is caused by a lack of cortisone in the body.

He explained that the hormone cortisone is responsible for regulating blood pressure in the human body, in cooperation with another hormone called aldosterone.
Mowafy confirmed that blood pressure decreases significantly when there is a deficiency of cortisone, aldosterone, or both.

Is blood pressure 100-70 normal?
He revealed that low blood pressure may be normal for some people, citing a blood pressure measurement of 100/70.
He concluded his speech by pointing out that a blood pressure of 100 over 70 is considered normal, and is not diagnosed as low blood pressure as some believe.
