In recent months in Lithuania – in city parks, streets, yards and public spaces – people have noticed a strange thing: numbered snails.

At first it seemed like a strange coincidence, someone’s joke, or maybe some kind of research by scientists. Later – as a riddle. Eventually, the phenomenon took on a life of its own in people’s conversations, photos, and even overseas communities.
In the public space, the question sounded more and more often: who did it and why?
“I know who and why marked the snails with numbers in Lithuania. This is not a random act. Today I say publicly for the first time – I created the phenomenon of numbered snails in Lithuania”, – 15min admitted Daividas Kurpis, currently living in Kaunas.

He presented himself as a person who researches the relationship between life, human behavior and the environment through real actions.
