What did Dimayor say?

The Dimayor, through resolution 126, issued on December 5, determined sanction with two dates the three reported by Wilmar Roldán, which for the green team of Antioquia means a hard blow, since it still has a chance of reaching the final.

In the case of Uribe and Castillo, the season may have already come to an end; however, If Nacional reaches the final, they can only be taken into account by their coach for the second leg.

If this does not occur, The sanction will apply to the next match of any competition.

For its part, Aguerre will have to think about the next championship, Well, Medellín no longer has any option in this League.

It should be noted that Nacional and Medellín will compete in the final of the BetPlay Cupa competition in which the sanction will also be in force, so there they could comply with the sentence imposed by the Dimayor.

According to the resolution, the sanction is given for “being guilty of violent conduct against an opponent”, since the three players were involved in a fight in the tunnel that leads to the dressing rooms.

“To be met on the sixth semi-final home run date of the BetPlay Dimayor II 2025 League and the next match and/or first match of the following competition,” the resolution reads.

Likewise, Castillo, Uribe and Aguerre were also fined $616,850.

What happened in the last paisa classic?

The broadcast of the meeting captured the pitched battle that took place in the mouth of the Atanasio Girardot locker room in Medellín.

The players from both squads were involved in the tough fight, but the spotlight fell on two players: the Medellín goalkeeper, Washington Aguerreand the Atlético Nacional midfielder, Matthew Uribe.

The fury was mostly from Aguerre on Uribe. Presumably, the latter, as seen in the video, said something that the Uruguayan goalkeeper did not like. However, the images are confusing or were captured at the wrong time.

Aguerre went on top of Nacional’s steering wheel and the green players had to intervene to prevent the problem from escalating, but it was too late. Immediately afterwards, the video cuts off and what followed inside the dressing room is a mystery.
