The official opening was celebrated with a ceremony attended by industry executives and guests, as well as senior representatives from Jameel Motors and Farizon Auto global headquarters.
Jameel Motors UK has invested £1.3 million in a complete refurbishment of the premises to create a high-tech, customer-focused environment, with state-of-the-art retail, after-sales and parts supply facilities. This is the first UK dealership for the independent international vehicle distributor and represents a statement of intent as part of a growth strategy across Europe.
The Farizon Park Royal sales team will focus on supporting freelancers, businesses and fleet managers in the transition to electric vans. It will offer customized finance and fleet solutions, as well as advice on commercial and home charging options through partnerships with ChargePoint and Hypervolt. Customers will also be able to receive specialist advice on customized freight transport solutions, to ensure that each Farizon van is configured to their specific operational needs.
Featuring a comprehensive demonstration fleet, visitors to Farizon Park Royal will have the opportunity to explore and test the entire Farizon SV range, which includes nine different body combinations and battery options. To help customers experience the vehicle first-hand, the site offers no-obligation 48-hour test drives.
Customers will be provided with comprehensive after-sales support to ensure they are fully supported throughout their stay at Farizon. The new workshop is equipped with the latest diagnostic and maintenance technology, with two inspection ramps installed and the possibility of adding two more to meet growing demand. And to ensure minimal downtime for customers, a fully stocked parts and accessories department will provide immediate access to key components.
As well as hosting the flagship dealership, the site also serves as the new headquarters for Farizon Auto UK. Over 30 employees work at the headquarters, covering sales, marketing, product development and network, supporting the brand’s continued growth across the country.
The Jameel Motors UK site in Farizon Park Royal is the sixth franchise outlet to open in the UK, following Heathrow Van Centre, SMV Commercials in Street, Brian Currie Van Center in Milton Keynes and Rygor Auto in Reading and Oxford.
The Farizon SV, an electric vehicle, introduces a number of advanced innovations, including drive-by-wire technology, hidden B-pillar design and cell-to-pack battery system, which combine to deliver market-leading performance, versatility and efficiency. With a payload of up to 1,350 kg, a load volume of up to 13 m³ and an ultra-low loading height of just 550 mm, the Farizon SV sets a new benchmark in the medium and large van segment.
A single high-performance trim includes premium features as standard, such as the load monitoring system, heated seats, heated multifunction steering wheel, heated windscreen, 360-degree panoramic view and a full suite of ADAS safety systems. The SV also achieved the highest five-star safety rating from Euro NCAP.
The model range starts from £40,000 + VAT (including Plug-in Van Grant) and is available with 67 kWh, 83 kWh or 106 kWh batteries. Its efficient all-electric powertrain delivers 170 kW (231 hp) and 336 Nm of torque, offering a WLTP range of up to 247 miles (combined). A 20 to 80 percent charge can be completed in just 36 minutes.
