MOSCOW, May 31. / TASS /. The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, pointed out that there was no reaction from Western countries to the landing in Berlin of a Ryanair airline, en route from Dublin to Krakow.
“The plane landed yesterday, and the news came only today? The incident became known only from the company’s press release, and not from NATO speakers? Not a single political statement or comment? No one requires an international investigation?” – she wrote on her Facebook page.
“Could this be after a week of Western attacks on the subject of the landing of the plane of the same company after a similar incident in Minsk?” “You don’t understand: this is different,” the diplomat said.
Earlier on Monday, DPA reported that Ryanair’s plane urgently landed in Berlin around 20:00 Sunday. On May 31, at about four o’clock in the morning, the passengers continued their journey on another plane. The true reasons for the unscheduled landing and subsequent search of the aircraft are still unclear. The spokesman for the federal police, according to the agency, for operational reasons, did not give any details. The Bild newspaper reported that the landing was made in Berlin due to the threat of mining on the side.
