Yosemite Climbing Accident: Balin Miller Death

The US extreme athlete Balin Miller fell into death while climbing mountain climbing in the Yosemite National Park in the US state of California. Her 23 -year -old son crashed on Wednesday on the well -known granite rock wall El Capitan, wrote his mother Jeanine Moorman on the website of the family company for outdoor equipment. She also published a photo of her son. Not all the details of the accident are known yet, she added.

According to the broadcaster CNN, Miller tried to climb the approximately 3000 feet (about 914 meters) high El Capitan (Spanish for: The Captain) over the Route Sea of Dreams when the accident occurred. The majestically-looking granite rock wall, which is partly vertical, is a popular destination for climbers and above all as the location of Alex Honnold’s Oscar-winning documentary “Free Solo”, in which Honnold continues to climb the rock wall without ropes.

Miller was therefore a popular personality in the climbing scene. He had transferred some of his climbing tours live to Tiktok and, due to his striking camping equipment, was lovingly called orange tent guy (roughly: the guy with the orange tent). Her son was hoping to fulfill another dream and to create a route in the Yosemite National Park, which he had wanted to climb for a long time, wrote his mother. He recently completed an ice and alpine climbing tour in his home state Alaska.
