Yangpyeong-gun has once again demonstrated its strength in regional sports, securing 13th place overall and second place in its division at the recent 15th Gyeonggi-do Disabled Sports Competition. A contingent of 111 athletes representing Yangpyeong-gun participated in the competition. The team, comprised of 71 athletes, 28 officials, and 12 guardians, competed across ten different sports, including gateball, billiards, badminton, bowling, weightlifting, track and field, boccia, table tennis, park golf, and e-sports. This broad participation highlights the diverse athletic talent within the region.

Notably, the e-sports team secured frist place, marking a important achievement and signaling Yangpyeong-gun’s potential in the burgeoning field of digital sports.
