Antonio Almendáriz, his deputy for the PCN, regretted that PCN security murder from the leader of the aforementioned Ramón Kury party.
The arrest of the bodyguards of PCN Secretary Manuel Rodríguez, also a deputy, took place the same day that a special hearing was suspended for the former deputy of that party Wilber Rivera, sentenced to 15 years in prison for money laundering.
Rivera asked for a new calculation of the sentence because, according to him, he worked in the prison where he is being held, which may reduce his sentence.
