according to Houston Police Department Captain Kenneth Campbell, the 20-year-old woman was a passenger on the back of the jet ski with two othre individuals when she fell into the water and did not resurface.
Captain Campbell stated that the driver, a male, and another female passenger searched for the woman but were unable to locate her, prompting them to call 911.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and deployed boats into the water. As of approximately 4 p.m., the woman had not been found.Authorities are utilizing helicopters, sonar-equipped boats, and dive teams in the search efforts.
