Wolf spotted 50 kilometers from Paris

The National Agency for Biodiversity (OFB) has officially identified the animal as a wolf, reports the newspaper “Le Parisien”, referring to the authority. A hunter had photographed the animal in Blaru a good 50 kilometers from the capital.

According to the report, the authority called on the population to calm down. There is no need to be afraid of the wolf when going for a walk.

Wolves are back in large parts of France. Their number is estimated at around 600.
