WHO: Europe has had the most cases of COVID-19, deaths last week

WHO officials pointed to a number of factors for the virus problems in Europe, including relatively low vaccination rates in some Eastern European countries. Countries including Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova and Georgia had some of the highest infection rates per 100,000 people in the past week.
