Offenbach (dpa / lrs) – The weather in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland will be sunny and dry in the coming days. In the nights it gets increasingly fresh, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced. The reason is cool air from Scandinavia. On Friday, the maximum daytime temperatures are between 22 and 27 degrees. On Saturday night, on the other hand, it cools down to 12 to 8 degrees, in the mountains to 5 degrees.
According to the meteorologists, it will also be sunny and mostly dry on Saturday. In the southwest, however, individual showers cannot be ruled out. The maxima are between 23 and 28 degrees. Local fog is possible on Sunday night. It cools down to values between 13 and 9 degrees, in the mountains to 4 degrees. During the day it will be clear to cloudy at up to 27 degrees. Rain falls at most west of the Rhine.
For Thursday morning, the DWD had predicted partly denser clouds. In the course of the day it should be mostly sunny. Rain does not fall. The maximum temperatures should reach 20 to 26 degrees. In the night of Friday, however, only values between 12 to 6 degrees were expected, at high altitudes up to 4 degrees.
