National bulletin – Weather situation and general evolution – Updated on Sun 02/08 – 07:10
Watch out for the new heatwave from Wednesday …
+ The northern and western regions can finally breathe with the return of a more oceanic influence (also accompanied by clouds because it is more humid air).
+ This drop in temperatures will also affect the eastern regions during the day on Sunday, while the Mediterranean area will remain influenced by the very hot air.
+ The day of Monday will be the least hot of the week with a few showers on the northern half while the mistral and the north wind will moderate the atmosphere of the Mediterranean regions.
+ From Tuesday, the high pressure will begin to spread towards France and the weather will already be more summery.
+ This will herald a new episode of very hot weather which will begin on Wednesday and will intensify until Friday or Saturday …
+ Then this daily furnace will persist in the South and the East perhaps until Wednesday August 12 or Thursday August 13, while the heat will possibly become more moderate in the North-West regions. This new scorching episode could therefore be longer than the current one!
