Vivo Sets Big Plans for 2025 with Expected Launch of X200 Ultra

Vivo is set to deliver a significant lineup of smartphones in 2025, with the highly anticipated Vivo X200 Ultra leading the charge. Latest leaks and insights from tech tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) suggest a compelling upcoming release that could redefine the smartphone landscape.

The primary focus for 2025 is the Vivo X200 Ultra, expected to debut in March or April 2025. This flagship model will likely be powered by Qualcomm’s powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, positioning it as a top-tier device. DCS points out that, if true, this will mark an earlier launch compared to the Vivo X100 Ultra, which made its debut in May 2024.

Vivo X200 Ultra Features: Set to Impress Camera Enthusiasts

One of the standout features of the Vivo X200 Ultra is its camera setup. The smartphone is expected to feature a triple-camera array, notably including a 50MP primary sensor and a groundbreaking 200MP periscope sensor. These sensors, similar to those in the Vivo X100 Ultra and X200 Pro, promise exceptional photography and videography capabilities.

However, it’s worth noting that while the X200 Ultra is targeting the Chinese market, there are no indications of its release in India. Vivo’s strategy suggests that this model will primarily cater to the Chinese customer base.

Vivo’s Broad 2025 Smartphone Roadmap

Beyond the X200 Ultra, Vivo’s product lineup for 2025 looks diverse and ambitious. DCS predicts the launch of several new flagship and mid-range devices, each addressing different market segments.

One noteworthy addition to the lineup is a potential Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered foldable smartphone, possibly named the Vivo X Fold 4 or X Fold 4 Pro. Expected to debut around June or July 2025, this launch represents a shift from the X Fold 3 series, which launched in March 2024.

Vivo is also focusing on compact mid-range smartphones powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 chipset. These devices will cater to users preferring smaller, yet powerful gadgets. A Dimensity 9400-powered tablet is reportedly in development, expanding Vivo’s footprint in the tablet segment.

The Vivo X200s series, following the X100s lineage, is scheduled to arrive in early 2025. This accelerated launch cycle for the S-branded smartphones showcases Vivo’s desire to keep up with consumer demand.
