Vaccine against Covid-19: “Clinical trials are carried out in a particular setting”


As the coronavirus has claimed nearly 900,000 lives worldwide, clinical trials of one of the most advanced experimental vaccines, developed by the University of Oxford and AstraZeneca, were suspended last night, due to ‘an unexplained illness contracted by a participant who took part in a study in Great Britain. This experimental vaccine is considered by the WHO to be probably the first vaccine candidate in the world and the most advanced in terms of development.
