Pigtie wants to change the “financial behavior of the young generations in Germany”. “The Pigtie app was published in the App Store and Google Play Store in March 2021. Since then, we have been able to convince several thousand users,” says founder Maximilian Klinke.
The FinTech Piggy, founded in 2020 by Maximilian Klinke and Christian Maksymiw, takes care of financial planning. In particular, the company would like to help “students, young professionals and young adults” to start investing. “Every day we have numerous ideas on how we could make the Pigtie app even better. The challenge here is to tailor product development precisely to the problems and needs of our target group,” says founder Klinke.
In an interview with deutsche-startups.de, the Pigtie maker also talks about features, projects and staying power.

Where did you meet your co-founder?
My co-founder and I met through the entrepreneurship grant “Manage and More” from UnternehmerTUM in Munich. It quickly became clear to us that we would go well together and that we both wanted to set up a start-up after completing our studies. After a series of joint projects, Pigtie emerged.
Where is Pigtie at the moment, what numbers, data and facts can you share with us?
