Two thousand Kostroma residents were educated on mother capital

More than two thousand students received education at the expense of maternity capital, This was reported by the press service of the PFR branch in the Kostroma region. Since 2010, thanks to maternity capital, 2,028 Kostroma graduates have received higher education in Kostroma, Yaroslavl, Nizhny Novgorod, Chelyabinsk, Yekaterinburg, Krasnoyarsk and St. Petersburg. The regional FIU allocated more than 120 million rubles for their training.

Today, parents can also use maternity capital funds to educate children, for this, several conditions must be met:

• educational organization must be located in the territory of Russia and
  have a license to provide educational services,
• on the date of commencement of studies, the student must be no older than 25 years,
• the baby who gave the right to maternity capital has already turned three
  of the year.

By the way, if an agreement on information exchange is concluded between the PFR Department for the Kostroma Region and the educational organization of the region, then in order to use the funds of the mother capital for the education of a child, it is only necessary to apply for
portal of public services or in your account on the PFR website.

To date, the regional branch of the PFR has concluded such agreements with the KGSHA, KSU, Kostroma Motor Transport College, Kostroma College of Trade and Economics, Kostroma Technological College, Kostroma Regional Medical College named after S.A. Bogomolov and Buysky College of Urban Planning and Entrepreneurship.
