Twenty students receive On The Move scholarships to study outside the EU during the next academic year

The TecnoCampus has awarded twenty On The Move scholarships, which will allow students from the three TecnoCampus university schools to stay at universities outside the European Union during the 2021-2022 academic year. The general director of Sabadell Consumer Finance, Miquel Costa, and the general director of TecnoCampus, Josep Lluís Checa, awarded the scholarships in one of the first face-to-face events held since the start of the pandemic.

The On The Move scholarships are endowed with 1,000 euros each, financed in equal parts by Sabadell Consumer Finance, from Banco Sabadell, and the Tecnocampus Mataró-Maresme Foundation. This is the seventh edition in which the On The Move Scholarships are awarded, an initiative that reaffirms the commitment of both institutions to promote international mobility of students of the different university degrees taught at TecnoCampus.

In fact, the internationalization of the campus is one of the key points of the TecnoCampus 2022 Strategic Plan, and on which it has been working in recent months to maintain and reactivate the international mobility of students in the context of Covid-19. In this sense, these scholarships will allow students to partially defray the expenses of their stay at universities in Canada, the Republic of Korea, Mexico, Taiwan, the United States, Chile, Peru, Brazil and Argentina, some stays that are outside the Erasmus program ( Europe).
