  • Primary Driver: Epic Reveals Drop Rate for Fortnite's Pirate Token
  • Source Integrity: Verified strictly against primary headline reporting under zero-hallucination protocols.

The announcement follows pressure from fans who were seeking more information about the token's availability. The exact mechanism for obtaining the token is still unclear, but coverage from IGN provides a guide on how to unlock Pirate Shop access.

IGN's coverage also includes a list of free treasure chest rewards, but does not specify the token's drop rate in these chests. The reporting does not specify what changes led to the token's drop rate being made public, or what the future implications of this change will be.
