All the Details From FFXIV's Fan Fest Tokyo Keynote

Square Enix announced at the Tokyo Fan Fest that the expansion Final Fantasy XIV: Evercold will launch on February 23, 2027, introducing Evolved Mode job changes. Yoshi P demonstrated the upcoming adjustments, with Men's Journal and AOL.com publishing the sneak‑peek details. The announcement also noted that Evercold’s release has been shifted, placing it in the busiest month of early 2027. Square Enix’s official statement confirmed the February 23 date, marking the first major content update since the 2025 expansion.

Wccftech reported the delay aligns the launch with the same day as the new Fable title, creating a crowded release window. The concurrent Fable launch, announced by the same publisher, suggests a strategic push for early‑year titles. Observers will monitor further disclosures on the Evolved Mode balance and any additional content slated for the February rollout. Fans will look for the final job change list before the December holiday patch.
