Amazon's Dwayne Johnson is set to lose his usual blockbuster summer spot. The star's new fantasy adventure, 'Lizard Music,' will now hit theaters in time for Christmas 2027, according to Deadline. This move marks a shift in strategy for the project, which was initially expected to premiere in the summer. The film is directed by Smashing Machine's Benny Safdie and is produced by Amazon MGM.

The change in release date has sparked interest in Johnson's transformation for the role. People.com published a photo of the actor on set, showcasing his new look as an elderly man. MovieWeb also reported on Johnson's hair transformation, describing it as 'completely unrecognizable.' Yahoo followed suit, sharing the same image and commenting on the actor's surprising new hairstyle.

The project now stands as a holiday release for 2027, with a focus on the Christmas season. The film's release date has been set, but further details on the plot and production remain undisclosed.
